After Hours

Makerspace @ The Hill After Hours is an opportunity for students in grades 3-6 at Falcon Hill to spend time exploring, creating and discovering. MS@TH - After Hours meets on Tuesdays from 2:15-4:45. There is a $5 materials fee due for each session a child attends.

How to Sign Up

Step 1 - Fill out and return the permission slip. Be sure you include your email address. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FORM.

Step 2 - The next step to ensure your child may participate in the next MS@TH After Hours Opportunity is to reserve a spot using Sign Up Genius. Once you have returned the permission slip with your email, Mr. Ritter will send you an invite to reserve a time slot through Sign Up Genius.

Step 3 - Read all of the important information below.

Important!

a. There is a high demand for MS@TH - After Hours. Space is limited! Students must sign up on Sign Up Genius each week to ensure space is available for each week's session.

b. Although students must sign up on Sign Up Genius each week, it is not necessary to return the permission slip more than one time.

c. Space is limited! Makerspace @ The Hill can accommodate a limited number of students. Sign ups are on a first come, first served basis.

d. A $5 materials fee is due for each session attended and must be paid in advance to hold your spot. Failure to pay the materials fee by the end of school on Wednesday will result in the relinquishment of your child's reservation for MS@TH.

e. No refund will be granted for absent students, however a credit will be applied toward the next session.

f. If your child is signed up for MS@TH and does not show, a staff member will call to notify you. Child safety is #1 priority!

g. If a reservation for MS@TH should be vacated for any reason, students on the waiting list may sign up on a first come, first served basis. It is advised that you check the Sign Up Genius on Wednesday afternoons/evenings to find recently vacated slots.

h. Your child does not need to attend the entire session of MS@TH. S/he is welcome to arrive after 2:15 (ie. after tutoring) or leave before 4:45. Therefore, when signing up, please indicate the time you expect your child to arrive and the time you expect your child to leave and/or be picked up.

i. Students are expected to be picked up on time. Please make arrangements to be here before 4:45 if necessary. Students picked up late will have their MS@TH privileges suspended.

j. At 4:45, a staff member will bring all remaining students to the flagpole for pickup.

k. If you need to pick your child up before 4:45, it will be necessary to sign your child out. A staff member will bring your child to the flagpole. Please call when you are at the school waiting.
